Nature of The Job

  • The COE Lead GCO holds a level IV position in the organizational hierarchy reporting directly to the Managing Director
  • This role is fully accountable for Service Line Managers at level III of the function which includes achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement in performance while also maintaining high team morale driving revenue generation and ensuring revenue security through effective management of a diverse product portfolio. The COE Lead should ensure meeting performance functional target and consistently enhance the use of assets and resources.
  • COE Lead in this role does not directly create strategy but plays a critical role in understanding current practices and suggest improvements for future approach plans. She/ He oversees operations as a unified system for consistent and predictable results. By Coordinating people processes and systems the COE Lead adapts priorities to achieve balanced results.
  • The role focuses on operational excellence risk mitigation revenue protection and sustainable scaling aligning current execution with a 25 year planning horizon.

JobPurpose

  • This role involves collaborating closely with the GEI teams Central Services team GUS institutions and vendor partners to world class services increasing utilization and enhance efficiency in GCO (part of the GSR department) and administrative processes. Responsibilities include directly managing Service Line Managers to deploy necessary infrastructure implementing tools and outputs and foster innovation. This role involves ensuring efficient service delivery through SLA management adhering to budget constraints maintaining quality standards for deliverables and oversee operations to achieve strategic and operational objectives focusing on business transformation and excellence.
  • The COE Lead is also responsible for supervising mentoring and leading a team of Team Leads and Business Development Coordinators ensuring adherence to protocols conducting quality checks and audits and managing day-to-day operations. The COE Lead must provide exceptional service to business development partners contributing indirectly to the achievement of sales targets.

Enhancing International Development Processes

  • Maintain CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of leads and client interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations proposals and reports.

Transition of Services to GEI

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive short-term and long-term plan for transitioning services including admissions assessments timetabling proctoring and other student services from GUS institutions to GEI.
  • Actively participate in the scoping and onboarding of new clients by providing necessary guidance value adds and best practices for smooth migration.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the CoE expanding the scope and scale of the service delivery organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing product development finance and other departments to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Oversee and coordinate projects related to business development initiatives.

Client and Partner Communication

  • Ensure follow-up with clients and partners addressing concerns and collecting feedback.
  • Share relevant updates and information with clients and partners.

People & Team Management

  • Identify/Hire resource Coach and Support when needed.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to Team Leaders and BDCs equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Define roles and responsibilities for each team member. Communicate performance goals and objectives clearly.
  • Encourage teamwork through collaborative projects and team-building activities.
  • Utilize collaborative tools and platforms to enhance productivity.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients partners and agencies.
  • Assess and address stakeholder concerns and manage escalations.
  • Tailoring processes and deliverables to align directly with the specific goals and expectations of each stakeholder ensuring their needs are comprehensively addressed and prioritized.

Process Management

  • Oversee client onboarding and contract management.
  • Optimize processes monitor performance and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders provide training and maintain documentation.
  • Perform quality checks and audits on the work of team members.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and generate performance reports.

Customer Support

  • Resolve customer issues promptly and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Leading and coaching a team to deliver high-quality service resolving customer issues effectively monitoring performance metrics and collaborating across departments to enhance overall customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Assess and monitor risks related to Recruitment Partners develop and implement a robust vendor risk and regulatory compliance program maintain Partner risk profiles conduct ongoing monitoring and provide updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure proper Partner vetting implement risk mitigation strategies and prepare regulatory-compliant materials for senior management.
  • Ensure alignment of compliance activities with strategic objectives and institutional priorities across GEI.
  • Collaborate closely with the Institutional Compliance Team to strengthen oversight and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor updates from regulatory bodies industry news and compliance resources to ensure timely dissemination of information to management and respective departments assessing the potential impact on current operations.
  • Establish a clear and confidential process for reporting compliance incidents. Conduct prompt and thorough investigations of all reported incidents to determine their root causes and develop corrective action plans.
  • Educate and train stakeholders on regulations and industry practices.
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
  • Prepare regular reports on Recruitment Partner risk management activities and provide updates to senior management.
  • Identify and escalate emerging risks to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain Recruitment Partner risk management policies and procedures.

Reconciliation and Commission

  • Manage reconciliation and commission calculations.
  • Resolve payment issues and ensure adherence to financial regulations

Desired Profile

Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management or masters degree in related field.
  • Certifications in project management Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) Supply Chain Management Designation (SCMP)

and or Six sigma certifications are desired.
