Job Summary
Associate Director Accessibility - IN
The Accessibility function partners across Product UX Engineering Content Legal Compliance and Operations teams to ensure digital products and services are accessible inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA requirements. The team drives accessibility strategy audits governance training tooling and continuous improvements across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead mentor and manage a team of accessibility professionals including accessibility analysts consultants content specialists and auditors.
- Define and execute enterprise accessibility strategies roadmaps and governance frameworks.
- Drive accessibility integration across product design engineering content QA and operational processes.
- Partner with UX Product Management Engineering Legal Compliance and business stakeholders to ensure accessibility standards are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee as well as conduct accessibility audits remediation programs and compliance initiatives across web mobile and digital platforms.
- Establish KPIs reporting mechanisms and operational metrics to track accessibility maturity and progress.
- Build accessibility training programs office hours and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
- Provide strategic guidance on WCAG ADA Section 508 ARIA and other accessibility standards and regulations.
- Evaluate and implement accessibility tools assistive technologies and automation frameworks.
- Drive inclusive design thinking and advocate for accessibility best practices across leadership forums.
- Manage prioritization staffing team development and performance management activities.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to support enterprise accessibility transformation initiatives.
People Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a growing accessibility team with direct people management responsibilities.
- Coach mentor and develop team members to build accessibility expertise and leadership capabilities.
- Drive team engagement collaboration performance management and career development.
- Support hiring onboarding workforce planning and organizational scaling initiatives.
