Job Summary
A General Manager in Design within real estate isresponsible for overseeing the architectural and design aspects of projects from initial concept to final construction and handover.This role involves managing designers coordinating with other stakeholders and ensuring designs align with project goals regulations and budgets.They also play a key role in developing and implementing design strategies including master planning site selection and design guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership:Guiding the design team ensuring adherence to project goals and design intent.
- Master Planning:Developing comprehensive plans for projects including site layout transportation public spaces and landscaping.
- Design Development:Overseeing the development of designs considering factors like site constraints regulations and feasibility.
- Stakeholder Coordination:Collaborating with architects engineers consultants and other stakeholders.
- Budget and Schedule Management:Managing the design budget and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Quality Control:Ensuring the quality of designs and construction through inspections and reviews.
- Staying Current:Keeping up with industry trends and advancements in design sustainability and urban planning.
- Data Analysis:Collecting analyzing and documenting design-related data.
