FATEHPURIA HYGIENE PRIVATE LIMITED JOB DESCRIPTION WAREHOUSE INCHARGE Position Department Work Location Employment Type Reporting To Warehouse Incharge Warehouse / Operations As per company requirement Full-time Warehouse / Operations Manager About the Role The Warehouse Incharge will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the warehouse including inventory control receiving and dispatch operations manpower supervision documentation stock accuracy housekeeping safety and coordination with internal teams. The role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to ensure smooth and timely warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all daily warehouse activities ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Plan and control the receiving unloading checking storage picking packing and dispatch of materials/products. Maintain accurate physical and system-based inventory records and ensure stock availability as required. Monitor inward and outward material movement and verify quantities specifications and supporting documents. Conduct regular stock checks cycle counts and physical inventory verification; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Ensure proper identification labeling coding and systematic storage of all materials. Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable and monitor stock ageing expiry and slow-moving items. Prepare and maintain GRN delivery challans dispatch records stock registers transfer notes and other warehouse documents. Coordinate with procurement production sales logistics accounts and other departments for timely material movement. Plan daily manpower allocation and supervise warehouse staff loaders helpers and other assigned personnel. Assign duties monitor attendance and productivity and ensure discipline and adherence to company procedures. Train warehouse staff on handling procedures documentation safety housekeeping and standard operating practices. Ensure orders are picked packed and dispatched accurately and within the required timelines. Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle placement loading and timely dispatch. Verify dispatched material against orders and documents to minimize shortages excesses damages and wrong dispatches. Monitor material handling and ensure products are protected from damage contamination leakage or improper storage. Maintain proper warehouse layout aisle clearance stacking standards and optimum utilization of storage space. Ensure cleanliness hygiene pest-control standards and overall housekeeping of the warehouse. Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules PPE requirements fire-safety practices and safe material-handling procedures. Report damaged expired rejected missing or excess stock immediately and coordinate corrective action. Monitor warehouse equipment racks pallets handling tools and other assets and report maintenance requirements. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warehouse reports covering stock inward/outward movement dispatches discrepancies and manpower. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of inventory and operational information. Identify operational issues and implement practical corrective and preventive actions with management approval. Ensure compliance with company SOPs policies and statutory/operational requirements applicable to warehouse activities. Required Skills & Competencies Good knowledge of warehouse operations inventory management and material handling. Good leadership and manpower-handling skills. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Basic computer knowledge; ability to work with MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems is preferred. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to maintain records and prepare operational reports. Problem-solving ability and a responsible disciplined approach to work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet dispatch/operational deadlines. Preferred Qualifications 12th pass or graduate; diploma/qualification in logistics supply chain or warehouse management is an advantage. Prior experience in warehouse inventory logistics FMCG manufacturing or a related environment is preferred. Candidates with experience supervising warehouse staff and handling inventory documentation will be preferred. Performance Expectations High inventory accuracy and minimum stock discrepancies.
