Assistant ManagerManager – Electroplating ( Nickle, Crome,Zinc)

About the Role:-

Our client is looking for an experiencedDeputy Manager / Manager Electroplatingto lead and manage the electroplating operations at the plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in plating processes hands-on plant managementexperience and a sharp focus on quality safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end electroplating operations including zinc nickel chrome and other plating processes as per product requirements
• Monitor and control plating bath chemistry plating thickness and process parameters to ensure consistent quality output
• Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet delivery timelines and capacity targets
• Ensure compliance with quality standards customer specifications and relevant industry certifications
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of plating lines rectifiers tanks and associated machinery
• Manage the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and ensure adherence to environmental and pollution control norms
• Lead train and supervise the shop floor team including operators supervisors and quality inspectors
• Troubleshoot process deviations rejections and quality issues drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of plating chemicals consumables and spares
• Maintain proper documentation of process logs quality reports and compliance records
• Drive cost optimization waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives on the plating line
• Ensure workplace safety protocols and statutory compliance are strictly followed

Qualifications Required

• 715 years of experience in electroplating operations within a manufacturing/metal finishing setup
• Diploma/ Metallurgy Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Prior experience in a plant/production leadership role within electroplating or surface coating industry preferred

Skills Required

• Strong technical knowledge of electroplating processes plating chemistry and surface finishing techniques
• Hands-on experience with plating line equipment rectifiers and ETP operations
• Good understanding of quality standards testing methods and customer specification compliance
• Strong team management and shop-floor leadership capabilities
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle production challenges and process deviations
• Working knowledge of MS Office and production/quality reporting tools
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams (production quality procurement)

Our client is a Metal products manufacturing company with an In-house Design Sampling and Production setup. They have the capabilities of manufacturing small components to large-scale Metal Products. Having 25 yrs of a successful track record of manufacturingand marketing products in India and overseas. As part of their growth and diversification plans they recently commissioned a world-class state-of-the-art fully automatic PSBB Production Line from Italy. The material flow of Punching Shearing Bufferingand Bending system (PSBB) can be automated with different modules to manufacture Sheet Metal Components and sheet metal equipment to be supplied to small medium large scale and Multinational Consumer and Industrial Equipment manufacturers across over 1.5 Lac sqft of area the two factories have a workforce of more than 400 people in different departments.
