Title              :        Asst/Deputy Manager Buying

Department:       Operations Supply Chain

Location      :       Navi Mumbai- Nerul

Reports To :       Manager Supply Planning & Buying

    Material Buying: 

• Translate full month production plan into requisite RM & PM qty.
• Plan develop implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
• Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
• Analyze master production schedules to calculate exact raw material requirements and establish optimal inventory levels prevent shortages and reduce excess inventory.
• Track plan versus actual discussion and fix the gaps with manufacturing team.
• Identify supply shortages or logistics risks creating mitigation plans to ensure continuity.
• Rough cut capacity planning.
• Act quickly to solve supply chain disruptions material defects or schedule changes to avoid production downtime.
• Utilize ERP systems (like SAP) to maintain data accuracy and create KPI reports on vendor performance and inventory turnover.

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

• Partner with the procurement warehouse and production teams to align material flow with business goals.

Qualifications :

• Education: Graduate BE/B-Tech Master/MBA in supply chain management or Operations Management.
• Experience:  45 years in supply chain inventory control or production planning.
• Advantage:

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP S4 HANA) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong ability to forecast demand and interpret supply chain metrics.
• Excellent negotiation problem-solving and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Demonstrated broad understanding of purchase and supply chain processes
