Assistant Manager Room Sales
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager Room Sales is responsible for driving room revenue by identifying new business opportunities managing key accounts and building long-term client relationships. The role focuses on achieving sales targets while working closely with Revenue Management Reservations and Operations to maximize occupancy and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Drive proactive room sales through business development lead generation and client acquisition.
Manage corporate travel trade and leisure accounts to achieve room revenue targets.
Conduct sales calls client meetings presentations and hotel site inspections.
Prepare proposals negotiate contracts and ensure timely follow-up on business opportunities.
Collaborate with Revenue Management and Reservations to optimize occupancy ADR and RevPAR.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and account growth.
Monitor market trends competitor activities and identify new revenue opportunities.
Represent the hotel at networking events trade shows and sales promotions.
Skills & Experience
Strong proactive sales business development and account management skills.
Excellent communication negotiation presentation and relationship-building abilities.
Strong analytical skills with knowledge of revenue management principles.
35 years of experience in Room Sales Corporate Sales or Hotel Sales preferably in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
