About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager - HR to manage the organisations end-to-end HR activities with a primary focus on recruitment manpower management employee coordination and consultant/vendor management.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing recruitment requirements coordinating with external recruitment consultants maintaining manpower plans and handling day-to-day employee-related matters within an organisation.

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower requirement to candidate joining.
  • Understand hiring requirements from various departments and prepare/coordinate Job Descriptions.
  • Source candidates through job portals databases references consultants and other recruitment channels.
  • Screen profiles and coordinate interviews with hiring managers/department heads.
  • Manage offer discussions salary negotiations documentation and joining formalities.
  • Maintain an active recruitment pipeline and ensure positions are closed within defined timelines.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates throughout the hiring process.
2. Recruitment Consultant Management
  • Coordinate with external recruitment consultants/agencies for critical and volume hiring requirements.
  • Share vacancies provide feedback on submitted profiles and monitor consultant performance.
  • Maintain a database of recruitment consultants and their areas of specialization.
  • Ensure proper coordination between consultants candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Track recruitment agency performance closures turnaround time and hiring costs.
3. Manpower Planning & Management
  • Maintain and regularly update the organisations manpower plan and vacancy tracker.
  • Coordinate with management and department heads regarding current and upcoming manpower requirements.
  • Monitor headcount vacancies new joiners exits and replacements.
  • Identify manpower gaps and support timely recruitment planning.
  • Prepare periodic HR and manpower reports for management review.
4. Employee & In-House People Management
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding day-to-day HR-related matters.
  • Handle employee queries grievances and workplace concerns professionally.
  • Support employee engagement retention and team-building initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding induction and exit formalities.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is updated.
  • Assist management in implementing HR policies processes and employee-related initiatives.
5. HR Operations & Coordination
  • Maintain accurate employee records HR trackers and recruitment MIS.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for joining documentation and other HR requirements.
  • Monitor attendance leave employee movements and other routine HR activities.
  • Support performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports dashboards and management presentations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between employees management consultants and other stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • 5 years of relevant HR experience preferably with strong exposure to recruitment and people management.
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment.
  • Experience in managing multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
  • Strong experience in coordinating with external recruitment consultants/agencies.
  • Good understanding of manpower planning and workforce management.
  • Exposure to employee relations and in-house HR operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong follow-up coordination and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel MS Office and recruitment/job portals.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with senior management and department heads.
  • Candidates from CA firms professional services consulting financial services or similar organisations would be preferred.
