Job Description:

1. Online Order Fulfilment & Last-Mile Delivery
-
Own end-to-end order processing from receipt to dispatch ensuring fulfilment within defined SLA
-

Monitor real-time order dashboards; proactively resolve picking errors OOS situations and delayed

Coordinate with Delivery Executives (DEs) for timely assignment dispatch and route adherence

Track key last-mile metrics: on-time delivery % failed delivery % return-to-store (RTS) rate

Handle customer escalations related to late delivery wrong items or damaged goods

2. Middle-Mile Coordination
-
Track hub-to-store and inter-store transfers; ensure timely receipt and accurate documentation
-
Flag shortfalls transit damages and discrepancies to the supply chain team immediately
-
Maintain transfer acknowledgement records and enforce FIFO compliance during stocking
-
3. Inward & GRN (Goods Receipt Note)
-
Oversee inward operations: receive stock from vendors and hubs
-
Physically verify quantity/weight and condition of all incoming goods
-
Ensure GRN creation in the system is accurate and completed on time
-
Record short receipts damaged goods and near-expiry products
-
Ensure cold chain compliance during inward of chilled and frozen products (temperature logging cold
-
room TAT)
-
4. Putaway & Storage Management
-
Ensure correct putaway of all inward stock by category temperature zone (ambient / chilled / frozen)
-

Maintain bin/rack labelling slot accuracy and aisle cleanliness at all times

Understand and enforce FEFO (First Expiry First Out) and FIFO protocols across all categories
-
Conduct daily bin audits to reconcile physical stock with system inventory

5. Inventory Management & Stock Control
-
Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and weekly full-store audits
-
Investigate and resolve stock variances (shrinkage pilferage system mismatches) with root cause
-

Maintain accurate records of returns damages and wastage in the inventory management system
-
Use data and Excel/WMS reporting to analyse demand patterns and pre-empt supply gaps
-
6. Cash & Financial Controls
-
Manage daily cash collection from COD orders; ensure end-of-day cash reconciliation against system
-
Prepare daily cash handover reports and deposit as per company SOP
-
Identify and escalate discrepancies between system-recorded sales and physical cash
-
Maintain petty cash register with supporting vouchers; comply with petty cash policy
-
7. Team Management & Development
-
Lead schedule and manage a team of pickers packers inward staff and delivery executives across

-
Conduct daily briefings covering targets SLAs food safety updates and operational priorities
-
Train new joiners on SOPs for picking packing inward GRN and cash handling
-
8. Compliance Food Safety & Hygiene
-
Ensure store complies with FSSAI food safety standards cold chain norms and local regulations
-
Maintain store hygiene: cleaning schedules pest control logs and temperature monitoring records
-
9. Multi-Store & Expansion Support (Senior Candidates)
-
Support Area Manager in analysing catchment areas and neighbourhoods for potential new store
