Key Responsibilities
- Plan design and deliver engaging art and craft curricula for students across various grades aligning with the schools academic standards and cocurricular objectives.
- Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation critical thinking and appreciation of diverse artistic traditions.
- Conduct handson workshops exhibitions and interschool art competitions to showcase student talent.
- Assess student progress through projects portfolios and performance evaluations; provide constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and the cocurricular department to integrate art concepts into interdisciplinary projects and events.
- Maintain an organized safe and wellstocked art studio ensuring proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Stay updated with emerging art techniques digital tools and pedagogical best practices; incorporate innovative methods into lessons.
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development programs and schoolwide initiatives.
