Area Supervisor – Karnataka

We are seeking a motivated Area Supervisor ARR to join our team. This role will oversee the implementation of ARR projects across Haveri Karnataka ensuring high-quality plantation and timely milestone achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ARR project implementation within assigned areas.

• Lead and monitor field officers and partner organizations.

• Ensure quality plantation survival rate and timely milestone achievement.

• Coordinate farmer onboarding training and stakeholder engagement.

• Verify field data geo-tagging and project documentation.

• Conduct regular site visits and submit progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with Varaha SOPs and carbon project requirements.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (.) in Horticulture Agroforestry and Agriculture.

• 0 to 1 year of work experience.

• Prior experience in agroforestry forestry afforestation reforestation or related development projects.

• Strong knowledge of plantation management agroforestry systems and farmer engagement.

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.

Nice to have

• Communication and stakeholder management.

• Problem-solving and reporting.

• GPS/Geo-tagging experience is an advantage.
