The Architect will be responsible for planning designing and coordinating architectural aspects of industrial and plant infrastructure projects including factory buildings warehouses utility blocks and allied facilities. The role requires close coordination with civil structural and MEP consultants statutory authorities and project execution teams to ensure designs are functional compliant and aligned with plant operational requirements.
Prepare architectural drawings layouts and design concepts for industrial buildings plant expansions and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with structural civil electrical and MEP consultants to ensure integrated and buildable designs.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes fire safety norms factory licensing requirements and environmental regulations.
Prepare and process drawings for statutory approvals including plan sanction fire NOC and other regulatory submissions.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress against approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) material specifications and cost estimates for architectural scope of work.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors on design intent material selection and finishing standards.
Support space planning for production floors storage areas utility yards and administrative blocks in line with operational workflow.
Maintain drawing registers revision control and project documentation.
Ensure designs support operational efficiency worker safety and future scalability of plant facilities.
Bachelors degree in Architecture () registered with the Council of Architecture (COA).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial factory or warehouse project design; manufacturing plant exposure preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / 3ds Max preferred.
Working knowledge of National Building Code (NBC) local development control regulations and factory building norms.
Basic understanding of structural and MEP coordination in an industrial project context.
Strong site coordination and vendor/contractor management skills.
Good communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams and statutory authorities.
Attention to detail and design accuracy
Ability to work under project timelines in a plant/manufacturing environment
Problem-solving orientation for on-site design adjustments
Team coordination across engineering execution and statutory functions
This role involves a combination of office-based design work and regular site visits to plant locations. Occasional travel to project sites within Gujarat may be required.
Required Skills:
Graduate/Postgraduate in HR/IR/Labour Law Minimum 5 years experience in plant HR (preferably in manufacturing or textile industry) Strong knowledge of labour laws factory compliance payroll and IR practices Familiarity with HRMS software and T&A systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field
