Applications Engineer

Job Description:

We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Applications Engineer located in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu. Our client is a reputed organization in the Industrial Manufacturing and Rotating Equipment sector looking for skilled and motivated professionals to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare techno-commercial quotations for seals and auxiliary systems based on RFQs within customer timelines.
  
• Interpret technical specifications datasheets warranties and commercial requirements for rotating equipment applications.
  
• Coordinate with global manufacturing hubs for special orders backlog updates and technical clarifications.
  
• Support sales teams by preparing forecasts maintaining pricing standards and improving booking conversions.
  
• Review customer purchase orders and ensure compliance with company sales approval policies.
  
• Utilize corporate systems such as SAP CRM Flowforce Trident Tool and Customer Connect for order processing and quotations.
  
• Conduct customer visits to understand application requirements and strengthen technical relationships.
  
• Continuously enhance technical expertise in pumps mechanical seals API/ANSI standards and auxiliary systems.
  

Required Skills:

• Mechanical Seal Knowledge Hands-on understanding of sealing systems and rotating equipment applications.
  
• Pump Standards Expertise Familiarity with API/ANSI/ISO pump specifications and industrial standards.
  
• Quotation & Proposal Management Experience preparing accurate techno-commercial quotations.
  
• SAP/CRM Tools Ability to work with ERP and customer management systems for order processing.
  
• Technical Communication Capability to interact with customers and global manufacturing teams effectively.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with industrial automation or auxiliary systems.
  
• Exposure to international manufacturing coordination.
  
• Technical sales or customer-facing engineering experience.
  

Work Experience Requirements:

Candidates should possess 45 years of relevant experience in application engineering product engineering or sales engineering within the pump or rotating equipment industry. Professionals with certificate courses and 10 years of strong pump industry experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate should thrive in a technical customer-oriented and fast-paced industrial environment.

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  
• Preferred: Certification in Pump Technology / Rotating Equipment
  
• Additional: API/ANSI/ISO standards-related certifications preferred
