As a Senior Application Engineer you will design and develop tools needed to automate build and release infrastructure. You will manage the infrastructure for high availability monitor security and compliance.
About the team
The Greenseers team reduces operational burden of critical development resources by taking on operational and critical migration work and adding value with projects designed to optimize SDE resources. We work on initiatives to help reduce defects and provide visibility to our systems. We work with development teams to direct our efforts according to their need. We are looking for System Development Engineer who can design and implement scalable build and release infrastructure.
We build systems that provide various payments features and process payments at an unprecedented scale with accuracy speed and mission-critical availability. We innovate to improve customer experience across the globe with support for currency choice pay using installments pay with reward points in-store payments pay on delivery credit and debit payments seller disbursements gift cards and many new exciting and challenging ideas are in the works.

- 6 years of systems design software development operations automation and process improvement experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one modern language such as C C# Java Python Golang PowerShell Ruby experience
- Experience leading the design automation deployment and support of large-scale infrastructure
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience leading and influencing your team or organization or experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead
- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and management to collect requirements evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization
- Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs
- Bachelors degree or above in computer science computer engineering or related field or Associates degree or above
- You play a significant role in the growth and development of your team by onboarding mentoring and hiring new team members. You partner with managers to guide the career growth of their team members and may operate as a people leader.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- 6 years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
- Experience debugging profiling and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems or experience leading the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience reviewing and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity that will drive performance improvement
- Experience delivering results for large cross-functional initiatives/projects or experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
- Experience leading and influencing your team or organization or experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
