We work directly with News Corps global brands to offer a range of technology services including Mobile Development Web Solutions Analytical Services IT Infrastructure Support and Cyber Security Operations.

We are seeking an HRIS Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our team at News Corporation Bangalore location. As an HRIS Analyst you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for the seamless functioning of our Workday systems and processes globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day support and maintenance of Workday operations across all global Business Units.

  • Provide functional and techno-functional support to News Corps HROPs teams by analyzing and resolving queries raised on different functional areas such as: Core HCM Recruiting Onboarding Offboarding Compensation Time Tracking Leaves and Absence and Performance Management.

  • Ensure data quality integrity and operational efficiency of HR systems in a fast-paced matrixed organization.

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of support and work with HROPs and product owners to bring down the operational support and improve user experience.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations SOX requirements and internal controls where applicable.

  • Support Workday Integration EIB inbound processes analyzing conditions and eligibility rules and maintaining fundamental knowledge of security groups and roles.

  • Perform root cause analysis on HRIS support issues and proactively identify document and report configuration changes or enhancement requirements to improve system functionality and user experience.

  • Participate in system testing release activities and support bi-annual Workday upgrades where applicable.

  • Create and maintain documentation including SOPs best practices requirement documents training material and status reports.

  • Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies while supporting projects and operational activities.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Manage and resolve HRIS support tickets through ServiceNow or other ticketing platforms.

  • Flexibility to work in different shift hours as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in global HRIS with a focus on support and maintenance.

  • A bachelors degree in business administration Management or Human Resources

  • Hands-on experience in Workday modules including HCM Absence Management Time Tracking Performance Management Reporting Compensation Management and Recruiting.

  • Experience with Workday EIBs integrations reporting and security concepts.

  • Basic understanding of APIs XML/XSLT or Workday Studio is an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical troubleshooting problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

  • Experience in gathering documenting and reporting Workday configuration and enhancement requirements based on operational support analysis and business needs.

  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong documentation reporting and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team player with strategic and operational acumen.

  • Demonstrating strong teamwork skills in a rapidly expanding organization.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.

  • Proficiency in process re-engineering problem-solving and root cause analysis.

  • Knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies preferred.

  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and workflow management is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Excel functions (VLOOKUP charts data validation).
