Job Summary
Urgent Hiring – Allocation Lead (Assistant Manager)
Location: Kochi Kerala
Experience: 5–8 Years (Candidates with 3 years of highly relevant experience may also be considered)
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Food Technology Food Engineering Production Engineering Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management Operations Management or any related discipline.
CTC: 8–9 LPA
Key Responsibilities
Material Allocation
- Allocate raw materials and semi-finished goods as per the approved production schedule.
- Ensure the right quality materials are allocated based on product specifications inventory availability and production priorities.
- Review daily production plans and adjust material allocations based on operational requirements.
- Monitor material shortages and recommend alternate allocation plans.
Inventory & Material Management
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Material In-Charge to ensure availability of quality-approved materials.
- Optimize material utilization across production requirements.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
Production Coordination
- Work closely with Production Planning Procurement Warehouse and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Resolve allocation-related issues and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Participate in production planning meetings to align allocation strategies.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure only approved and quality-cleared materials are released for production.
- Maintain complete batch traceability.
- Ensure compliance with GMP HACCP Food Safety standards and company SOPs.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate allocation records in ERP/manual systems.
- Prepare daily allocation inventory and material movement reports.
- Track material consumption against allocation plans.
- Analyze allocation performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend process improvements to optimize inventory utilization and reduce material wastage.
- Support operational excellence initiatives across the production planning function.
