Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Agriculture Horticulture & Allied Sectors Trainer to deliver skill development and vocational training programmes. The trainer will be responsible for imparting theoretical and practical knowledge related to modern farming practices horticulture allied agricultural activities sustainable agriculture and agribusiness while ensuring effective learning outcomes and employability of trainees.
- Deliver classroom and field-based training in Agriculture Horticulture and Allied Sector courses.
- Train candidates on crop production horticulture practices soil management irrigation systems organic farming protected cultivation and agricultural technologies.
- Provide practical demonstrations on nursery management greenhouse operations pest and disease management post-harvest handling and farm mechanization.
- Prepare lesson plans training materials practical exercises and assessment tools.
- Monitor trainee attendance progress and performance throughout the training programme.
- Conduct assessments and maintain training records as per project guidelines.
- Facilitate field visits demonstrations exposure visits and interaction with industry experts.
- Support entrepreneurship development self-employment initiatives and placement activities.
- Ensure compliance with government skill development standards and agricultural training requirements.
- Submit training reports assessment records and project documentation timely.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree/Diploma in Agriculture Horticulture Agronomy Agricultural Sciences Agricultural Engineering or related discipline.
- Certified Trainer qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of modern agricultural practices and technologies.
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in Agriculture Horticulture Agribusiness or related sectors.
- Prior experience in vocational training skill development programmes or agricultural extension services preferred.
