Main Roles & Responsibilities

As an Advanced Piping Engineer youll be working with aninnovative multi-disciplinary team which includes a group of colleagues fromsame or different disciplines where youll:

• Responsible for developing Basic design & Detailed design phase of projects
• Responsible for delivering operations tasks within own discipline
• Works independently & involve in small to large projects
• Expected to support seniors in design & execution of project deliverables
• Demonstrate subject matter knowledge
• Ensure quality & on-time delivery
• Expected to support in conducting model reviews using Navis works manage

• Expected to take initiatives plan & prioritize own works to meet project deadlines
• Able to make operational decisions through choice between known alternatives

Preferred Competencies

• Knowledge of piping layouts GA drawings piping specifications equipment modelling design & drafting of 2D PID & 3D piping system pipe support Isometric drawing & MTO
• Skilled in using AutoCAD Plant 3D & Navisworks tools
• Requires knowledge of Piping codes & standards
• Should have knowledge of terminologies & symbols used in PID
• Effective communication skills
• Have positive approach & good collaboration within the team
• Can communicate information in a precise and transparent manner
• Should have effective communication skills (Country & Cross-Country)
• Have good problem-solving skills
• Agile and able to prioritize urgent tasks

Main Tasks

Approx. 95% work in smallmedium & large sized projects together with seniors engineer and lead

• Work independently with guidance from senior & lead engineer
• Structure and plan work of own discipline in small projects
• Ensure interfaces to & co-ordinate with other disciplines
• Ensure changes to scope of work are brought to the attention of lead
• Ensure quality of deliverables in own discipline
• Co-ordinate with team members of own & cross disciplines

Approx. 5% development of skills & competencies:

• Stay updated on development activities with own discipline
• Prepare design for reviews & support senior engineers & leads in review process
• Expected to take initiatives plan & prioritize own works to meet project deadlines
• Able to make operational decisions through choice between known alternatives

Education and Work Experience

In all positions there are some things that areneeded and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for youto do well in this role:

• You have a diploma/degree in engineering within mechanical or Chemical
• You have minimum 6 years of experience in engineering projects with good knowledge in Intelligent P&ID drafting / Piping 3D design
• You speak and write English

Softwareknowledge

• AutoCAD / AutoCAD Plant 3D (Intelligent P&ID Drafting / 3D Piping design)
• Navisworks manage
