About the Client:

Our client is a rapidly growing US-based career coaching company that helps aspiring software engineers land high-paying tech jobs ($80K$150K) through structured interview preparation career coaching and a 100% employment guarantee. Their students are primarily international students and recent graduates in the United States many of whom have families back in India who are involved in the investment decision.

As demand continues to grow they are seeking an experienced Admissions Sales Representative who can confidently engage prospective families build trust and successfully guide them through the enrollment process.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level consultative admissions sales position that combines outbound prospecting with relationship-driven enrollment advising.

Approximately 50% of the role focuses on appointment generation through outbound outreach calling qualified lead lists following up on prospects throughout the admissions pipeline and re-engaging inactive opportunities. The remaining 50% involves meeting directly with parents of prospective students conducting admissions consultations understanding each familys educational goals handling objections and confidently closing enrollments.

This is not a transactional sales or BPO role. The ideal candidate understands consultative selling builds trust naturally and can confidently discuss the long-term educational value and return on investment (ROI) of the programs offered.

This individual will serve as the face of the organization to Indian families making significant educational investments and should be comfortable representing the company professionally during phone video and client-facing meetings.


Role Responsibilities:

The primary function of this role is to generate qualified admissions opportunities while managing the complete enrollment process from initial inquiry through successful enrollment.

Lead Generation & Appointment Setting (Approximately 50%)

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective students and parents using company-provided lead lists.
  • Generate qualified appointments for admissions consultations.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the admissions pipeline.
  • Re-engage inactive or stalled leads.
  • Qualify prospective families and identify their educational goals and needs.
  • Maintain consistent outreach activity to support enrollment targets.

Admissions Sales & Enrollment Consulting (Approximately 50%)

  • Meet directly with parents of prospective students through scheduled consultations (virtual and/or in-person when required).
  • Build trust and credibility with families making significant educational investments.
  • Present educational programs while clearly communicating their long-term value and return on investment.
  • Understand each familys goals and recommend the most suitable educational pathway.
  • Handle objections professionally while maintaining a consultative relationship-focused approach.
  • Guide families through the admissions and enrollment decision-making process.
  • Successfully close enrollments while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and organized records within the CRM system.
  • Manage the complete admissions pipeline from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Track lead activity follow-up schedules and enrollment progress.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are documented accurately.
  • Keep leadership informed of pipeline performance and enrollment opportunities.

Relationship Management

  • Build lasting relationships with prospective students and their families.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the admissions process.
  • Maintain proactive communication until enrollment is complete.
  • Represent the organization professionally during phone calls video meetings and client-facing interactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of consultative sales experience preferably within:
    • Education
    • EdTech
    • International Education
    • High-ticket coaching or educational programs
  • Must be based in India and available to work during IST business hours.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (spoken and written) with the ability to confidently sell and communicate in both languages.
  • Experience in using CRM Platforms Google Workspace Microsoft Office Suite Video Conferencing Software HubSpot and Sales Communication Tools.
  • Proven experience selling directly to parents and families not solely B2B accounts or cold-calling/BPO environments.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build trust uncover customer needs communicate educational ROI handle objections and close high-value enrollments.
  • Experience independently managing CRM systems sales pipelines and follow-up activities.
  • Senior-level sales professional who is highly organized self-driven and capable of managing the full sales cycle with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional polished presence during phone calls video meetings and client-facing consultations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling educational programs to Indian families.
  • Background in admissions enrollment international education or study abroad services.
  • Additional Indian language proficiency is highly desirable including:
    • Tamil
    • Telugu
    • Marathi
    • Urdu
  • Strong experience in consultative relationship-driven sales environments.
  • Experience discussing education financing long-term educational outcomes or return on investment with families.
  • Familiarity with the tech job market or software engineering career landscape is a plus.
