About the Role
Workdays Accounts Receivable Team is continuing to expand and were seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Analyst- Payments who wants to make their mark on a growing organization. This role will work with multiple departments within the company. To be successful in this role the individual must be able to manage multiple deadlines have strong analytical skills be detail oriented display a high level of organizational skills and enjoy collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Training of new hires
Oversight and responsibility for ensuring the daily recording of customer payments are completed timely
Investigate and resolve payment queries
Processing returned payments
For failed integrations or bank files facilitating resolution with internal WOW team or bank contacts
Performing account reconciliations
Completing month end and quarter end close responsibilities
Presenting and speaking on behalf of the payment team in a variety of meetings (with potentially Product WOW) which may include upper level management
Completing regression/feature uptake testing
Providing audit detail and support as requested by internal and external audit teams
Providing detail and support for payments withheld due to sanction review requests
Collaborating with multiple different teams (tax expense ap corp acctg payroll) to help identify appropriate coding of non-AR payments
Maintaining customer records
Special projects as assigned
Supporting ongoing automation testing and implementations
Builds rapport and trust with internal customers
Collaborates with team and takes initiative on process improvement opportunities
About You
Basic Qualifications:
6 years of cash application and accounts receivable (or similar) experience
Other Qualifications:
Organized detail oriented and accurate
Strong computer skills are necessary including Excel and Google docs
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong ability to follow through and take ownership of issues
Customer service focused and solution oriented
Professional demeanor
Continually evaluates processes and seeks to improve operational efficiencies
