Profile:Accountant

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as an Accountant (not a junior-level profile)
• Experience in end-to-end accounting using Tally

Roles:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and book entries in Tally (sales purchase payment receipt journal)
• Handle accounts payable and receivable including vendor and customer reconciliation
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements
• Prepare GST data and file GST returns (GSTR-1 GSTR-3B) and assist with reconciliation (GSTR-2B)
• Calculate and deposit TDS and file TDS returns
• Maintain ledgers trial balance and monthly MIS reports
• Support in preparing the profit & loss account and balance sheet
• Coordinate with the CA or auditors for auditand compliance
• Maintain expense records petty cash and supporting documents
• Follow up on outstanding payments and report on accounts to management

Qualification:

• / (a commerce graduate is mandatory)
• Additional certification in Tally or accounting is an advantage
