Accountant

We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Accountant in Chennai Tamil Nadu. Our client is seeking skilled motivated professionals with sound accounting knowledge and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. • Maintain accurate books of accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions.
  
• Prepare and verify journal entries ledgers vouchers invoices and supporting documents.
  
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
  
• Assist with GST TDS and other statutory accounting documentation.
  
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
  
• Support month-end and year-end account closing activities.
  
• Maintain organized financial records for audits and management review.
  

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Ability to maintain accurate day-to-day financial records.
   
2. General Ledger Accounting Knowledge of ledger posting journal entries and account reconciliation.
   
3. Bank Reconciliation Ability to reconcile bank statements against accounting records.
   
4. GST & TDS Fundamentals Working knowledge of common Indian taxation and compliance requirements.
   
5. Financial Reporting Ability to prepare and support routine accounting and financial reports.
   

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms.
  
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  
• Understanding of month-end closing and statutory documentation.
