Software Engineer – Cloud Management Portal
Job Summary
We are seeking a Software Architect to lead architectural decisions for our Cloud Management Portal a customer-facing platform enabling enterprises to manage govern and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure.
You will champion modern engineering best practices and work closely with product owners and customers to ensure the portal delivers tangible business value.
This is an ideal role for a hands-on architect with intrinsic motivation who believes that great engineering serves customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Define and communicate architectural vision for the Cloud Management Portal aligned with product strategy and customer outcomes
Make pragmatic architectural decisions balancing modern practices with delivery speed and customer value
Champion modern engineering best practices: clean architecture testing (unit/integration/e2e) continuous refactoring and knowledge sharing
Coach engineers and team leads on architectural patterns design decisions and engineering best practices
Foster a blameless post-mortem culture focused on learning and system improvement
Work closely with product owners and customers to understand multi-cloud management pain points and translate them into portal features
Design scalable multi-tenant Cloud Management Portal architecture supporting AWS GCP Azure environments
Architect secure authentication and authorization using OpenID Connect EntraID/Azure AD and SAML with role-based access control
Lead infrastructure-as-code strategy using Terraform and AWS CDK; automate deployments testing monitoring and operational tasks
Identify opportunities to leverage AI within the portal: cost optimization recommendations anomaly detection policy automation resource right-sizing
Stay current with AI/ML advancements and evaluate adoption feasibility for customer-facing portal features
Qualifications :
Technical Requirements
Deep expertise in : async patterns performance optimization enterprise patterns microservices architecture
Expert-level understanding of authentication and authorization: OpenID Connect (OIDC) Azure AD/EntraID SAML 2.0 OAuth 2.0
Strong grasp of identity and access management principles zero-trust architecture and least-privilege design
Production-grade cloud architecture on AWS: compute (Lambda ECS EC2) storage databases networking and security
Expert proficiency in AWS CDK and strong Terraform skills: modular design state management CI/CD integration
Test automation expertise: unit integration contract and e2e testing; test strategy design
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation; code quality tooling and practices
API design: TARDIS REST GraphQL event-driven patterns
Comprehensive observability design: metrics logging distributed tracing synthetic monitoring
SRE principles: SLIs SLOs error budgets blameless post-mortems toil reduction
Proficiency in Python Go or similar for automation and diagnostics
Strong communication skills; ability to visualize architecture through diagrams and compelling narratives
Minimum Qualifications
8 years of software engineering experience with 3 years in architecture or technical leadership
Proven track record designing and operating production systems at scale
Experience building multi-tenant SaaS or enterprise platforms
Fluent in English; capable of engaging with international customers
Willingness to learn experiment and operate in ambiguous fast-moving environments
Intrinsic motivation to continuously raise engineering standards and customer satisfaction
Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
Curiosity for AIL advancements emerging technologies and industry best practices

Experience with identity provider platforms or security-focused infrastructure
Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (SNS SQS Kafka)
Familiarity with FinOps and cost management tools
