The Position
The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber strategist to lead scale and transform our PV Regional Center. As the regional head you will oversee all PV and Device Vigilance operations across the EEMEA region. This pivotal role puts you at the intersection of global strategy and regional execution tasks you with driving absolute compliance operational agility and clinical safety integration.
As a strategic peer to Affiliate Patient Safety and Global Leadership you will directly influence the overarching Patient Safety Operations (PSO) roadmap. We look to you to leverage automation data analytics and digital tools to elevate our safety framework to a world-class level.
Strategic Leadership: Direct and motivate a multi-site regional team fostering a culture centered on quality accountability and customer focus.
Regulatory Oversight: Ensure regional operations seamlessly align with global standards and diverse local legal frameworks.
Digital Evolution: Act as a catalyst for modernization by integrating AI machine learning and advanced digital insights into safety operations.
Audit Mastery: Guarantee continuous audit and inspection readiness while maintaining a bulletproof business continuity strategy.
Matrix Integration: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional internal partners to unify regional clinical safety efforts with global business objectives.
Talent Development: Embody the VACC (Visionary Architect Catalyst Coach) philosophy to mentor talent and build robust succession plans.
Industry Representation: Serve as the primary regional interface for regulators and external partners reinforcing our market-leading reputation.
Who You Are
You are an analytical thinker and people-first leader who thrives when managing complexity. You understand the nuances of the global pharma landscape and want a role where your decisions directly impact corporate strategy and patient lives.
Qualifications: Health Care Professional Degree (MD Pharmacist or equivalent senior-level industry experience).
Track Record: Minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical sector with 5 years specifically dedicated to leading substantial PV operations.
Geographic Scope: Demonstrated success managing multi-country cross-border operations within a matrixed multinational environment.
People Leadership: Mastery of VACC leadership principles with a history of building high-trust diverse and high-performing teams.
Domain Knowledge: Subject matter expertise in GVP ICH-GCP and international regulatory standards (FDA/EMA).
Influence: Elite communication skills in English capable of navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and driving consensus.
Innovation Mindset: A proactive champion of change eager to pilot digital tools and methodologies to optimize efficiency.
