PwCs Sustainability Reporting & Assurance practice is a rapidly growing community of professionals driven by a shared purpose: to help our clients build trust and create sustained outcomes for business and society. We work sidebyside with organisations as they navigate an increasingly complex sustainability and ESG reporting landscape bringing rigour insight and credibility to the information they disclose to the market.

Make a real impact

As a Sustainability Reporting & Assurance Experienced Professional (Associate / Senior Associate level) yourresponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support or lead selected areas of sustainability assurance engagements from planning through completion ensuring quality timeliness and compliance with professional standards and methodologies
  • Support clients in designing and executing materiality assessments (impact and/or financial materiality) and stakeholder engagement processes
  • Support clients in the end-to-end implementation of sustainability reporting frameworks including the development of reporting governance structures and operating models design of data collection validation and consolidation processes and support in the preparation of sustainability statements aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to business development efforts including identifying new client opportunities supporting proposal development and nurturing existing client relationships
  • Apply and continuously develop technical knowledge and expertise related to sustainability reporting and assurance including knowledge of the applicable sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations (CSRD ESRS EU Taxonomy ISSB GRI GHG Protocol etc.)
  • Contribute to technical research on emerging sustainability regulations reporting requirements and assurance implications and support clients and internal teams with interpretation of reporting requirements and disclosure expectations

What you bring matters

  • At least 2-4 years of client facing experience supporting and delivering advisory or assurance work in the field of ESG and/or sustainability
  • Experience and proven track record of exceptional performance in one or more of the subsequent domains: Sustainability reporting ESG assurance climate change and decarbonisation
  • Knowledge of national and EU sustainability related regulatory advancements
  • Demonstrated expertise in ESG-related frameworks and standards including but not limited to: ESRS/CSRD GRI SASB TCFD TNFD CDP ISO 14001- EMS ISO 14064 - Greenhouse gases GHG protocol EU Taxonomy
  • A university degree in business/finance economics accounting engineering a sustainability-related subject or another discipline with strong quantitative elements
  • Excellent critical thinking intellectual curiosity and problem solving abilities
  • Strong research analytical and report writing skills
  • Excellent project management skills and a demonstrated track record in overseeing challenging projects.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel Powerpoint and experience handling large amounts of data
  • Strong personal initiative agility and resourcefulness
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing in a clear concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek)
  • Military obligations fulfilled
