Working Student (mfd) Data Science

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) - Data Science in the specialist area Data Science in our Strategy and Marketing team based in Munich.

The position is for aduration of 6 to 12 months and the weekly work schedule is 20 hours.

Responsibilities

• Data preparation: pull clean and join datasets from ERP CRM and production databases using Python and SQL
• Exploratory analysis & ML prototyping: run EDA build features and prototype supervised or unsupervised models as specified in the hypothesis
• Validation and visualization: validate model outputs against process logic and plant values create charts short reports and dashboards for chemists & engineers to review
• Contribute to pipelines: write modular documented code ensure version control in Git and update experiment tracking
• Support operations: maintain monitoring dashboards in AWS prepare test data for deployment propose small code or data quality improvements

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Statistics Data Science or related field; currently enrolled in a Masters program
• Previous experience as a working student preferred (1-2 years)
• Strong proficiency in Python (required) and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and Data Science methodologies
• Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) applications and tools
