By actively supporting and challenging our customers across multiple levels of their organization you will position UPM Adhesive Materials as their preferred partner for the future. What you will do
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve annual and long-term objectives
Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships within customer organizations
Identify business opportunities through data analysis and drive impactful growth initiatives
Manage the customer portfolio to deliver sales margin and product mix targets taking corrective actions when needed
Negotiate commercial terms and annual agreements ensuring proper documentation and compliance
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide market intelligence on customers competitors and end-users
Act as the primary customer contact and collaborate cross-functionally (Sales SBUs etc.) to execute account plans
Oversee accounts receivable credit management processes and ensure accurate customer data and documentation
Who you are
You have a university degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
You have experience or knowledge of the packaging or labelling industry
You have a proven track record in sales ideally in a B2B field sales environment
Experience in special segments such as oil & chemicals pharmaceuticals or wine is an advantage
You have strong commercial mindset with solid negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex products
You are proactive self-driven and able to effectively manage priorities
You are customer-oriented with strong networking and relationship-building skills
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you are fluent in English and German
