Were building the operating system for materials analysis

Right now geologists spend far too much time battling outdated tools just to get minerals data. That slows down every step. Were fixing it! In just 18 months Momentum Transfer has gone from spinout to seed-funded startup to the go-to platform for synchrotron-quality powder X-ray diffraction as a service. More than 2300 users already rely on us to provide state of the art mineralogy data. Now were expanding our mining services where understanding mineralogy isnt academic its the difference between a profitable operation and a write-off. This is where you come in: youll open the conversations that turn that capability into customers.

Tasks

The Role

Youll research mining companies projects labs and consultants find the people who feel mineralogy problems most acutely geologists metallurgists process engineers and lab managers and reach out by phone and email. Youll qualify needs and timing book qualified meetings for the senior sales team and keep the CRM clean so the whole team can see whats happening. Youll also feed what you learn in the market back into our outreach helping sharpen the messaging as we build this vertical. Remote role with flexible hours around 50% availability.

Requirements

The Mindset

This role is the tip of the spear. Youll be the first person a mining company hears from so you need to be comfortable picking up the phone writing a sharp email and asking good questions about a technical market youre still learning. Mining moves on credibility and persistence people wont always reply the first time and the best opportunities come from staying in touch and being genuinely useful. You dont need to be the expert who closes the deal; you need to find the right people spark real interest and hand the senior sales team meetings worth having.

What we need

  • Based in Germany
  • 50% availability (part-time)
  • Native-level English
  • SDR/BDR or outbound appointment-setting experience
  • Comfortable calling prospects cold outreach doesnt scare you
  • Strong written communication
  • Organized reliable and self-driven
  • Able to work from home

Nice to have

  • Spanish
  • Mining lab services scientific SaaS or technical B2B experience
  • CRM or LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience

Not for you if
