Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You develop solutions to integrate state-of-the art and new quantum navigation technologies into resilient navigation systems.

  • You simulate and analyse hybrid classical-quantum navigation solutions.

  • You are part of defining integrating and field-testing a flying hardware demonstrator.

  • You present your research at leading international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Scientific university degree (master) or comparable degree in physics robotics aerospace or electrical engineering quantum technologies or related technical fields.

  • Knowledge on classical navigation methods sensor fusion and state estimation theory.

  • Solid foundation in mathematics experience with probabilistic models.

  • Basic knowledge of simulation modelling and good background in related software tools (Matlab/Python).

  • First experiences in the field of quantum sensing is an asset.

  • Hands-on experience in the laboratory.

  • Fluent English.
