Job Description:

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated detail-oriented and service-focused HR Assistant to join our HR Operations team for Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys operational work values accuracy and wants to contribute to a positive employee experience in an international environment.

In this role you will support benefits administration payroll processes and the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners you will help maintain accurate HR data prepare employee documentation and ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations across a broad range of topics.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & HR Administration

  • Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding including document preparation system updates and personnel file maintenance

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and ensure timely completion of core HR administrative tasks

  • Prepare HR letters contracts amendments certificates and other employee-related documentation with care and accuracy

Payroll Support

  • Support monthly payroll preparation by collecting checking and maintaining payroll-relevant data in a timely and accurate manner

  • Coordinate payroll inputs such as absences working time changes and employee updates with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers

  • Review payroll reports and support the resolution of discrepancies and employee payroll-related questions

Benefits Administration

  • Support benefits administration processes including enrollments changes terminations and related employee documentation

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee questions related to benefits and coordinate with internal teams and external providers as needed

General HR Support

  • Provide first-level support to employees and managers on general HR administrative topics

  • Support the preparation of reports trackers and HR documents for internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with the HR team and contribute to efficient high-quality HR operations

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Fluent in German and English (required); proficiency in Dutch Italian or Polish is a plus

  • Completed vocational training in a relevant field such as HR business administration or office management

  • 23 years of relevant professional experience in HR administration payroll support benefits administration or a similar operational HR environment

  • Initial experience working with HR systems and handling confidential employee data is desirable

  • High level of integrity and a confident responsible approach to handling confidential information

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured reliable way of working

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a structured and dependable way

  • Strong skills in Office 365 especially Excel Word Outlook SharePoint and Teams are required

  • Experience with HRIS (Workday) is a plus

  • Experience with P2P Tools (Coupa) is a plus

  • Service-oriented proactive and eager to learn

  • A collaborative team player with a hands-on mindset

  • Careful accurate and dependable in administrative work
