Job Summary

The Group Accountant supports the preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and ad-hoc financial reports. The role also involves being the contact person for internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting related topics.

  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS
  • Review financials of the groups subsidiaries to ensure uniform accounting and valuation throughout the group
  • Preparation of (ad-hoc) financial reports and financial analysis
  • Provide reliable accounting advice to internal and external stakeholders
  • Use of consolidation software LucaNet
  • Support projects for group-wide standardization and harmonization of group accounting processes 
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes in group accounting

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in business administration accounting economics MBA or industrial engineering with a focus on (group) accounting financial reporting finance or auditing 
  • 2-5 years of sound professional experience in group accounting reporting and consolidation of an internationally oriented company and/or in an auditing firm
  • Key technical accounting skills according to IFRS
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Practical experience with LucaNet or other consolidation software
  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal German language is a nice to have
