Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - French
Type: Contract
Compensation: $42/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data in French to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Review multilingual transcription audits by comparing audio recordings with transcriptions. Apply error codes and provide a rationale for each judgment.
• Conduct forced alignment audits by verifying and correcting audio segment timestamps and transcriptions.
• Provide structured feedback for each task emphasizing critical errors for clarity.
• Work independently and asynchronously with a focus on careful listening and detailed analysis.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native command of French as spoken in France.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Experience in transcription subtitling localization linguistic annotation or QA.
• Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.

Preferred

• Prior experience in AI data annotation or model evaluation.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics.
• Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
