The Systems and Network Engineer is responsible for the design integration administration and ongoing development of the Groups systems and network infrastructure.
They ensure the availability performance security and compliance of IT environments both on-premise and hybrid within a regulated industrial context including GMP / GxP requirements. This is carried out in line with the Groups technical standards cybersecurity requirements and quality policies.
They also contribute to the continuous improvement of the resilience of the information system and to the modernization of infrastructure.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems and Network Engineering and Administration
Design deploy and maintain network infrastructure including LAN WAN Wi-Fi and inter-site connectivity.
Administer and develop Windows Server and Linux systems.
Manage infrastructure services such as Active Directory DNS DHCP NTP and backups.
Administer virtualization environments such as VMware Hyper-V or equivalent solutions.
Define and maintain high-availability service continuity disaster recovery and business continuity architectures.
Security and Compliance
Implement systems and network security policies including firewalls segmentation VPNs and hardening.
Ensure regulatory compliance of infrastructure including GMP / GxP internal requirements and quality audits.
Participate in security audits risk assessments and remediation plans.
Contribute to security incident management and to strengthening the organizations cybersecurity posture.
Operations and Level 2 / 3 Support
Ensure the ongoing operational reliability of systems and networks.
Handle complex incidents problems and major changes.
Monitor infrastructure performance availability and capacity.
Provide expert-level support to support and operations teams.
Work closely with application security quality and business teams.
Projects and Continuous Improvement
Participate in infrastructure migration upgrade and modernization projects.
Contribute to IT and industrial transformation projects.
Propose improvements in performance resilience security and automation.
Keep up to date with technological developments in systems networks and infrastructure solutions.
Documentation and Governance
Prepare and maintain technical documentation procedures and operating standards.
Contribute to the standardization and governance of systems and network infrastructure.
Participate in internal audits and compliance controls.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Networks: TCP/IP VLANs routing VPNs QoS firewalls.
Systems: Windows Server Linux.
Virtualization: VMware Hyper-V or equivalent.
