Senior Network Expert & Project Manager MF

The Senior Network Expert oversees technical architecture contributes to innovation leads projects and ensures a successful handover to operations. He provides high-level technical support to Service Managers or Production teams on complex incidents. A key part of the role is also to drive product or service innovation and animate a product community to communicate strategy and foster continuous improvement.

Main activities

• Maintain expertise in connectivity products and technologies (SDWAN LAN WIFI PROXY DNS/DHCP FIREWALL) with vendors (CISCO MERAKI PALO ALTO INFOBLOX) and cloud providers (AWSAZUREGCP)  to drive innovation & technical evolution journey . He contribute to identify and evaluate technical & product opportunities to suggest evolution than can be deployed or reused to impact BU and meet Veolias strong stake
• Contribute to technical standards definition. Manage and ensure compliance of network architectures standard with Technical Architecture and Operations Documents (DATEX) and existing policies
• Handle L3 support when necessary contribute or lead crisis management on major incidents. Conduct technical diagnostics validate action plans and ensure resolution on complex and critical incidents to guarantee service level for our customers.
• Update and maintain technical documentation and architecture compliance
• Lead at least medium-sized projects as project manager with project methodology; ensure smooth transition to operational teams led by Service Managers
• Animate and lead communities around assigned products to communicate on strategy product evolutions and service understanding
• Drive continuous improvement actions through active community engagement and knowledge sharing
• Support Service Managers in controlling managed service provider activities particularly on complex tickets and critical incidents
• Ensure technical best practices and compliance with operational procedures are respected
• Participate in service definition and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in vendor management and technical committees

Qualifications :

Main skills

• Technical:
  • 15 years experience. Expertise in connectivity products and technologies (SDWAN LAN WIFI PROXY DNS/DHCP FIREWALL) in multi BU Multi product group environment
  • Ability do define & present a technical strategy
  • Concrete experience in innovation 
• Project management and transformation:
  • Demonstrated experience on medium-sized projects (minimum) as project manager
  • Demonstrated experience in complex SI transformation & deployment at scale
• Community management: Already animate and lead communities around assigned products to communicate on strategy product evolutions and service understanding
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL): Integration in a service approach to guarantee Operational Excellence and good transition from project to operational teams. Client centric
• English: Fluent to be able to discuss with BU and use international documentation
