The role and its stakes

As Senior Customer Success Manager you are the primary partner for Chain of Events strategic sponsors on your designated event and a senior leader within the Customer Success team. You own the sponsor relationship end to end and you lead the people and suppliers who make delivery possible.

This is not an account management role with a team attached. You are accountable for three things: the experience sponsors have from first contact to post-event follow-up the share of them who renew and grow and the capacity of the Customer Success team to deliver at the scale of three summits in a single week.

Concretely you will:
  • Own a portfolio of top-tier sponsors. You are their dedicated point of contact. You understand their business goals and build relationships that last beyond a single edition.

  • Lead and mentor the team. You supervise and mentor a team of 5 to 6 Customer Success members who join at different points in the year with the support of your manager.

  • Manage freelancers and suppliers. You lead the onboarding of freelance contractors and own at least one key supplier relationship alongside the other Senior CSMs.

  • Design the sponsor journey. You build the end-to-end sponsor experience from first engagement to post-event follow-up so that every touchpoint meets a best-in-class standard.

  • Lead onboarding and delivery. You make sure every contractual deliverable is executed on your event: marketing campaigns speaking slots branding booth logistics.

  • Maximise sponsor ROI. You advise sponsors on how to optimise their presence using data and creative solutions to increase their return.

  • Drive retention and upsell. With the Sales team you identify renewal and expansion opportunities and turn one-time sponsors into long-term strategic partners.

  • Build the CS processes. You contribute to the architecture of Customer Success processes and systems and bring new tools and workflows that make the team faster and more consistent.

  • Deliver on site. During the event you are on the ground with VIP partners solving issues in real time.

How your success is measured: the quality of sponsor onboarding and of the end-to-end customer journey per-event renewal rates and a defined retention and upsell target. Both renewal and upsell are tied to your bonus.

Growth and development
  • Ownership of the sponsor relationship on a full event from day one.

  • A first or next step in management with a team of 5 to 6 people and a manager who supports you in it.

  • A direct role in designing the processes and tools of a Customer Success department that is scaling.

  • Through Hyve access to an international events platform.

About you
  • 3 years in Customer Success Account Management or a related client-facing role ideally with large B2B accounts or sponsorship partners.

  • Strong project management skills: you can run dozens of deliverables in parallel on fixed non-negotiable dates.

  • A structured mind for processes: you have already built or improved a workflow a reporting system or a client journey.

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders at large institutions and tech companies.

  • Proficient with HubSpot and . Familiarity with Lovable and GitHub is appreciated.

  • Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.

  • Willing to work in an events cycle: intense build-up phases then on-site execution weeks that demand everything.
