Your future role

Alstom Data Science and AI programs aims to develop test validate and industrialize data-driven solutions in the mobility domain. The primary goal of these programs is to develop AI/ML software modules to improve customer performance and experience using existing and new data analytics supported by advanced simulations and domain expertise in order to extract key insights from mobility data using a variety of tools and techniques including machine learning statistical modeling and data visualization and to contribute to the development of zero-to-hero analytics applications (from proof of concept to industrialization) in maintenance operations energy and city flow domains.

As part of the Railway Data AI organization the Railway AI solution Manager & Tendering manager will be responsible of the program and solution management will lead the execution of AI solution program and in close collaboration with the bids team innovation Stations and Regions will be the interlocutor for tendering and business opportunities purpose on Data & AI solution.

As part of the Railway Data AI team you will lead tendering and competitiveness activities for AI solutions:

As part of the Railway Data AI team the Program manager will be responsible of leading the program management process and will be the strategic decider on the program:

His key responsibilities are:

  • Drive the solution & Program R&D from POC to industrialization;
  • Drive the Go-To-Market & the industrialization;
  • Ensure the QCD (Quality Cost & Delay) of the whole deliverables
  • Ensure the financial management of the R&D program: Define & manage the program R&D budget with relevant levels of reports to the stakeholders;
  • Define the overall program roadmap & strategy;
  • Ensure the coherence of the global program planning;
  • Responsible of the program commitment with external stakeholders;
  • Functionally lead the global team including V&V;
  • Lead the product strategy;
  • Will be the interface to the Data AI external teams as strategic decider on the program;
  • Build the business case of the Data AI solution
  • Prepare competitive bids for Railway Data Science & AI proprietary solutions;
  • Ensure that the technical offers meet the customer requirements otherwise propose alternatives in close collaboration with DS team and bids teams;
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical & commercial inputs;
  • Lead technical financial and risks reviews for each bid;
  • Identify and mitigate risks in bids and related contract agreements;
  • Track and analyse tender outcomes to identify areas of improvement;
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tender deliveries;
  • Maintain strong customer (internal or external) relationships throughout the tendering process;
  • Define and maintain the reference library for Railway DS & AI ensuring a full vision alignment between the metier product strategy and the pricing strategy (reflib);
  • Analyse customer needs and market trends in close collaboration with Data AI Performance team to improve the tendering strategy & process;
  • Show curiosity in the competitive market trends;
  • Propose continuous improvement during the reflib maintenance process and competitiveness analysis;

  • A bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field;
  • Effective experience in industrial project or program management position or as senior Bid Management position;
  • Market-oriented; good storytelling skills required;
  • Good knowledge & experience on the industrial systems required;
  • Knowledge on data-driven projects is a plus;
  • Experience in Data Engineering management required;
  • Experience in High availability & performant architectures would be appreciated;
  • Effective ability to manage multi deadlines simultaneously;
  • Collaborative strong team work and strong communication skills required;
  • Strong teamwork and a dynamic person is required
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required
  • The job will be based in Saint-Ouen France
