Piping Engineer Nuclear sector (MF)

As a Piping Engineer specializing in the nuclear sector you will join ALTEN teams to work on large-scale projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact with the supplier acting as the main interface.
• Ensure technical compliance of supplier documents (design files plans etc.) with contractual and nuclear standards.
• Review and validate technical documents such as calculation notes execution drawings and manufacturing procedures.
• Coordinate internally with system engineers (especially in Mechanics and Valves) the Quality team and the project team (planning and cost).
• Participate in technical reviews and progress meetings.
• Oversee manufacturing testing and quality control activities at the suppliers site.
• Monitor non-conformities waiver requests and corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to on-site construction teams addressing field deviations and installation queries.

Qualifications :

• Engineering degree or Masters level (Bac5) with a specialization in metal structures static mechanics or rotating machinery.

• Initial relevant experience in the field ideally within the energy and/or nuclear sector (including internships or work-study programs).
• Strong autonomy with excellent writing and communication skills.
• Fluent in both English and French with excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both languages.
