About the Role
The EMEA MAC Lead is the most senior role within the MAC service line accountable for the end-to-end delivery of all Moves Adds and Changes across the EMEA portfolio. This role works directly with the client and the Occupancy Planning Lead to shape the MAC strategy define priorities and ensure alignment between move delivery and broader workplace planning objectives.
The MAC Lead directly manages two Senior MAC Project Managers each responsible for a geographic area and through them oversees the full team of MAC Project Managers. The role owns all MAC KPIs including CSAT headcount moved project delivery timelines data accuracy and budget performance. Reporting to the EMEA Operations Director the MAC Lead operates as the single point of accountability for MAC program delivery vendor strategy and continuous improvement across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Client Partnership
- Act as the primary MAC interface with the client and the Occupancy Planning Lead ensuring MAC delivery is aligned with portfolio strategy headcount planning and workplace transformation goals.
- Own and report on all MAC KPIs providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Define the MAC delivery roadmap across EMEA balancing capacity complexity and client priorities.
- Represent MAC at governance forums leadership reviews and client steering committees.
- Manage dependencies with other initiatives and negotiate resource requirements with executive management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
Program Accountability
- Be accountable for the delivery of all MAC programs and projects across the EMEA region ensuring they follow defined standards and governance structures.
- Oversee program scoping planning and execution ensuring all assumptions are validated quantified and correctly translated into tangible outputs outcomes and benefits.
- Develop detailed robust program delivery roadmaps including resources outcomes schedules costs assumptions dependencies and business integration plans for varying scale and complexity.
- Be accountable as the first line of assurance for programs to mitigate risk and uncertainty exposures.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in MAC delivery and change management assisting the client and wider business in defining the right approaches and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
- Own program budgets including vendor cost management invoice governance spend tracking and identification of cost savings and avoidance.
People Leadership
- Directly manage two Senior MAC Project Managers setting objectives conducting performance reviews and supporting their development as regional leaders.
- Through the Senior MACs oversee the performance and development of MAC Project Managers across EMEA.
- Be a key member of the EMEA Management team and contribute to a culture of constant improvement across the region.
- Drive team capability building succession planning and knowledge sharing across the MAC function.
- Manage escalations and ensure operational issues are resolved with minimal client impact.
Vendor and Commercial Management
- Own the MAC vendor strategy across EMEA including partner selection performance management and contract governance.
- Ensure vendor delivery meets quality cost and timeline expectations at a regional level.
- Identify and implement commercial efficiencies across the vendor portfolio.
Process and Technology Optimisation
- Drive continuous improvement of MAC processes systems and tools to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Champion the adoption of AI tools automation and data analytics within the MAC function.
- Oversee the integrity of employee location data and space occupancy platforms ensuring accuracy per agreed KPIs.
- Lead the development and maintenance of SOPs playbooks and delivery standards.

Working Life
In this role you will work across our EMEA campus which is currently spread over 18 countries. The main business language spoken in our offices is English. Knowledge of English is essential. You will work over a 5-day week Monday to Friday. On occasion you may be required to work weekends or bank holidays this will be arranged in advance. On occasion you may be required to travel across the EMEA region.
What Youll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex corporate relocation projects including full building restacks and multi-site programs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing vendors and people in a facilities workplace or real estate environment.
- Demonstrable experience as a Program Manager delivering large and complex programs across large matrix-structured organisations and regions within a fast-paced high-profile environment.
- Program or project management qualification (e.g. MSP PMP PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent).
- Expert-level proficiency with project and program management platforms (e.g. Smartsheet Asana MS Project) including portfolio-level reporting resource planning and cross-program dependency tracking.
- Expert-level proficiency with CAFM/IWMS platforms including configuration data governance and reporting at scale.
- Advanced capability with AI tools and automation including the ability to evaluate implement and scale AI-driven solutions across MAC workflows (e.g. predictive scheduling automated reporting intelligent resource allocation).
- Strong command of data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau or equivalent) for KPI dashboards trend analysis and executive reporting.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications particularly Excel (complex modelling pivot tables macros) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations).
- Ability to read analyse and make decisions based on floor plans drawings and Space View data.
- Experience in financial management and budgeting at program level including cost modelling savings identification and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of EHS requirements and their application to move delivery.
- Excellent verbal written and presentation skills with advanced English fluency.
- Travel availability across EMEA.
Preferred:
- Background in corporate real estate integrated facility management or workplace services at a senior or leadership level.
- Experience with space data management occupancy analytics or workplace technology strategy.
- Familiarity with security protocols for restricted or prototype workspaces.
- Change management qualification or significant experience leading organisational change.
- Experience working with or implementing workplace technology solutions (e.g. desk booking systems IoT sensors digital workplace tools).
- Additional European language skills.
