M&A Analyst Intern
Job Summary
You will join us as M&A Origination Analyst Intern reporting directly to the M&A Director who is based in Europe.
Main responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and screening potential acquisition targets across all continents working with our appointed sourcing consultants and local business managers and using industry databases networking and other channels.
- Taking part in introductory meetings and pitching QIMAs projects to prospective sellers.
- Helping draft the business and financial memo on each potential target for presentation to senior management.
- Performing financial analysis and taking part in Q&A sessions with financial advisers and target management teams.
- Valuing targets and drafting letters of intent.
- Maintaining and updating our target and pipeline database throughout the sourcing and deal-execution stages.
Qualifications :
You are in your final year or on a gap year (césure) at a top-tier business or engineering school and available for four to six months. Successful candidates will also be:
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work under limited supervision.
- Able to multi-task and run several acquisition projects in parallel.
- Enthusiastic and personable with a positive attitude and a genuine team-player mindset.
- Comfortable working in an international environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong listening skills.
- Fluent in English.
