Job Summary
Description
This position supports the safe operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems across data centers. The role assists with the implementation of Electrical Safety Rules and ensures compliance with relevant legislation. The individual will help coordinate with site teams contractors and operations staff to maintain high safety standards. Training and guidance will be provided to develop expertise in electrical safety and data center operations.
Responsibilities
The team member will contribute to the administration of electrical safety protocols and support the maintenance of critical infrastructure. They will assist in monitoring compliance with safety regulations and participate in audits and incident investigations. The role involves collaborating with staff to ensure that all personnel and contractors adhere to established safety rules. The individual will also help with documentation reporting and the coordination of training activities. They are expected to develop a strong understanding of risk assessment and safe systems of work while supporting lifecycle projects and corrective maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably Electrical- Recognised craft Apprenticeship or equivalent training in electrical discipline- 0-2 Years experience in Building Services or Electrical/Data Center industry- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Willingness to learn electrical safety and risk assessment- Effective time management and customer focus
