Job Summary

Legal Internship Corporate / M&A

We are looking to recruit and energetic intern to join our Legal department in La Défense to support the team with Corporate M&A and other legal tasks.

Passionate about legal affairs and eager to evolve in an international environment the intern will:

  • Help with the drafting and proofreading of corporate documents such as for the creation of entities and M&A transactions
  • Assist in the annual approval of accounts as well as in corporate and governance matters for the Groups subsidiaries
  • Help with due diligence for corporate operations and compliance matters
  • Help create training materials and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Assist with implementation and tracking of corporate law and policies compliance initiatives such as policy acknowledgments and training completion
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating team and project meetings as needed
  • Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory and legislative changes affecting the Groups business
  • Support the Legal department with any other legal projects including digitalization efforts
  • The tasks listed are not exhaustive and may evolve.

Profile:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French is a must
  • You are currently pursuing a Masters degree in Law (Master 2 or DJCE) specialized in Corporate Law / M&A / Business Law or at the EFB or equivalent
  • The internship would last for a duration of about 6 months
  • You are a self-starter able to work with a degree of autonomy
  • You are rigorous and pay strong attention to detail especially in legal drafting
  • You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility
  • You are able to work with a diversity of people and teams
  • You are a quick learner at ease with the use of digital tools
  • You are able to handle confidential information responsibly
