Internship in Study Abroad & Tourism

We are a young dynamic and customer-oriented company with a can-do attitude and a passion for what we do. It is important to us that we provide each group with the ideal on-site support in order to make their study abroad experience a success.

It is not only important to us to offer educational opportunities for international students but also for European students at our locations.

An internship at our European Study Center (ESC) Strasbourg provides a unique opportunity to work in an international environment with people coming from around the world. The study center is located in the Château de Pourtales a 250-year old and company-owned castle that also operates a 3-star hotel.

We accept applications for internships starting every January/February and every fall in August/ addition we welcome initiative applications throughout the year. At the moment we are looking for candidates who can start in January and March 2027.

European Study Center Strasbourg:

• Project management: organization and implementation of faculty-led programs in Europe

• Expanding and cultivating contacts with companies or institutions who welcome our groups

• Budgeting and cost control

• Research and analysis on cultural and academic topics related to new study abroad topics and regions

• Evaluation of customer reviews

Château de Pourtalès:

• Reception and guest service with check-in and check-out

• Breakfast service with preparation and clean-up

• Back office support

• Bachelors degree (tourism business administration cultural studies or similar)

• Immatriculation connfirmation (Convention de Stage)

• Previous experience abroad and in the organization of events/group trips preferred

• Fluency in English further language skills in French German Italian or Spanish preferred

• Advanced MS Office skills

• High level of teamwork and communication skills

• Strasbourg transportation pass

• Team events

• Free lodging if needed
