At Tikehau Capital sustainability is an essential part of the decision-making process integrated into the fundamental analysis of our investment teams. It is also a progressive approach and we need to strengthen and streamline our processes. This position is an opportunity to be part of a growing alternative asset manager that integrates sustainability into every function of the business.


The Group is undergoing a reorganization of its cross-functional activities and the intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the team in its key missions. These responsibilities will span across various business units and functions providing an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) operations. The key tasks will include:


  • Organizing ESG Team and Committee Meetings: The role will involve organizing and facilitating the activities of transversal ESG teams and committees ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment across the organization.
  • Refining Policies and Governance: The intern will assist in reviewing and refining the groups ESG policies and governance frameworks to ensure they remain up-to-date and effective.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Supporting the team in preparing reports in line with major regulatory and voluntary frameworks.
  • Managing Transversal ESG Projects and Digitalization: The intern will be involved in transversal project management and support digitalization initiatives aimed at enhancing the groups ESG capabilities.
  • Coordinating ESG Efforts Across Business Units: The intern will assist in coordinating the ESG functions across multiple business units including Private Equity Private Debt Real Estate and Capital Market Strategies. This will involve ensuring the effectiveness of processes and harmonizing ESG practices across the organization.
  • Supporting ESG Analysis: The intern will help business units with their ESG analyses which includes tasks such as ESG scoring due diligence identifying and managing grey cases and controversies as well as conducting benchmarking exercises.

This role will provide the intern with a comprehensive understanding of ESG processes within a dynamic and evolving corporate environment as well as exposure to cross-functional collaboration and strategic project management.

Ces responsabilités sétendront à travers plusieurs stratégies offrant une excellente opportunité dacquérir une expérience pratique dans les opérations Environnementales Sociales et de Gouvernance (ESG). Les principales tâches comprendront :


  • Organisation des réunions de léquipe et des comités ESG : Le rôle impliquera lorganisation et la facilitation des activités des équipes et comités ESG transversaux garantissant une collaboration fluide et un alignement à travers lorganisation.
  • Amélioration constante des politiques et de la gouvernance : Le stagiaire contribuera à la révision des politiques ESG et des cadres de gouvernance du groupe pour sassurer quils restent à jour et pertinents.
  • Reporting et conformité : Le stagiaire soutiendra léquipe dans la préparation des rapports conformes aux principaux cadres réglementaires et volontaires.
  • Gestion des projets transversaux ESG et digitalisation : Le stagiaire sera impliqué dans la gestion de projets transversaux et soutiendra les initiatives de digitalisation visant à renforcer les capacités ESG du groupe.
  • Coordination des efforts ESG entre les activités du groupe : Le stagiaire aidera à coordonner les fonctions ESG au sein du groupe notamment le Private Equity la Dette Privée lImmobilier et les Stratégies de Marché des Capitaux. Cela impliquera dassurer lefficacité des processus et dharmoniser les pratiques ESG à travers lorganisation.
  • Soutien à lanalyse ESG : Le stagiaire aidera les équipes ESG des stratégies dinvestissement dans leurs analyses ESG ce qui inclut des tâches telles que le scoring ESG les due diligence lidentification et la gestion des cas gris et controverses ainsi que la réalisation dexercices de benchmarking.

Ce rôle offrira au stagiaire une compréhension approfondie des processus ESG dans un environnement dentreprise dynamique et en évolution ainsi quune exposition à la collaboration interfonctionnelle et à la gestion de projets stratégiques.




Profile:


ENG


  • Final or penultimate year student from a top business or engineering school with strong academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills: ability to approach problems logically and systematically and to analyze information effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrating a meticulous approach to tasks including data entry report formatting and documentation ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Dynamic and pro-active in suggesting new ideas: Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work autonomously with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Possessing a strong sense of urgency and a focus on achieving results.
  • Excellent command of MS Office: in particular Excel (ability to use formulas and to manage large files) and Powerpoint and ability to quickly learn new software tools or platforms used within the organization.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
  • A keen interest in ESG and sustainable development issues.
  • Solid understanding of -and interest in- capital markets.

  • Étudiant en dernière année ou avant-dernière année dune grande école de commerce ou dingénieurs avec de solides antécédents académiques.
  • Solides compétences analytiques et de synthèse : capacité à aborder les problèmes de manière logique et systématique et à analyser les informations de manière efficace.
  • Attention aux détails : faire preuve dune approche méticuleuse des tâches y compris la saisie des données la mise en forme des rapports et la documentation en veillant à la précision et à lexactitude dans tous les aspects du travail.
  • Dynamisme et proactivité dans la proposition de nouvelles idées : faire preuve dinitiative et de capacité à travailler de manière autonome avec une approche proactive de la résolution de problèmes. Démontrer une grande réactivité et une détermination à atteindre les résultats.
  • Excellente maîtrise de MS Office : en particulier Excel (capacité à utiliser des formules et à gérer de gros fichiers) et Powerpoint et capacité à apprendre rapidement de nouveaux outils logiciels ou plateformes utilisés au sein de lorganisation.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en travail déquipe.
  • Maîtrise courante de langlais et du français (écrit et oral).
  • Un vif intérêt pour les questions ESG et le développement durable.
  • Compréhension solide - et intérêt pour - les marchés financiers.
