Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a STC Qualification Engineer (f/m) to join our STC Solutions Programme / Customer Services based in Toulouse France.

We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB ICA and kits) certified through Airbus STC to airlines and lessors for the modification of their in-service aircrafts.

Integrated in the Airworthiness and Technical Validation team you act as a bridge between Engineering Departments and Certification Engineers to ensure compliance demonstration of the developed design solutions.

Your challenges:


  • Deliver and validate structural substantiation reports (static fatigue & damage tolerance) according to time cost and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise during design reviews from a stress structure perspective to ensure the safety of Airbus STC Solutions (ATA25/53).
  • Approve production concessions technical adaptations and analyze the impact of unexpected in-service feedback or damages.
  • Manage external subcontractors for stress topics and steer suppliers to guarantee technical compliance of developments.
  • Interface with external stakeholders (Decompression Aeroloads Airframe) and ensure seamless communication across multi-functional teams.



Your boarding pass:


  • Background in Aeronautical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft structure static stress and F&DT analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Airbus methods tools (Isami Hyperworks Nastran) and general regulation requirements (CS25).
  • EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) certification or capability to obtain it quickly.
  • Professional English proficiency (written and spoken) for technical project management.
  • Ability to travel worldwide occasionally (max 3 times/year) and support on-call duties (max 6 times/year).
