Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Landing Gear Product Engineer (f/m) to join our Engineering Systems Center of Competence based in Toulouse France.

You will be part of a team developing the Landing Gear Structures Design Office. As part of the Landing Gear Domain you will be involved in the support of the current Airbus fleet by contributing to hydro-mechanical product development ensuring aircraft airworthiness and securing on-time and quality delivery.

Your challenges:

• Deliver qualification and certification documents for hydro-mechanical equipment to ensure safety quality and performance standards across the product lifecycle.

• Manage landing gear suppliers technical deliverables and proof-read their technical reports.

• Conduct technical investigations on in-service issues to define root causes corrective measures and risk assessments.

• Provide technical solutions and answers to customer queries in support of the Airbus Engineering Support department (1SL).

• Author and secure approval for technical reports within the Landing Gear Engineering department and external entities.

Your boarding pass:

• Required experience in aeronautics mechanical engineering or hydro-mechanical design.

• Background in Aeronautics Mechanical Engineering or related technical disciplines (materials science structural analysis).

• Technical expertise in reviewing supplier documentation analytical engineering logic and safety-critical systems.

• Advanced level in English (negotiation and technical writing). French proficiency is a plus.
