Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Financial Controller (f/h) to join the Finance Department based in Marignane France.

The Marignane site the 3rd largest industrial site in France near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence is undergoing a deep transformation to offer a high-tech inclusive and environmentally friendly working environment.

Your main missions will be:

Engineering Cost Structure

  • Controlling of the French Engineering Perimeter ($approx 2300$ internal employees $550$ million euro scope):

    • Proposed Cost Center & Hourly rate structure reflecting challenged operational needs.

    • Conducted analysis and provided explanations of financial figures.

    • Prepared consolidated financial statements reporting (France Germany) ($approx 3700$ employees $700$ million euro scope).

    • Monitored specific financial points related to Engineering activity and internal resources.

    • Validated hourly rates and presented findings to operational staff.

    • Served as the key master of Engineering-specific financial processes and methodologies.

    • Monitored budget/forecast exercises.

Engineering Transformation

  • Financial Focal Point and Support for VALUE transformation process:

    • Participated in project meetings to prepare/validate financial gates.

    • Managed Business Cases (creation follow-up and validation).

    • Proposed allocation keys for distributing costs toward programs.

Other Responsibilities

  • Served as the France Finance representative for the Engineering perimeter (addressing questions conducting finance education).

  • Acted as the Facilitator of the booking tool (MyHours).

  • Focal point for the Intellectual Property department finance topics.

  • Supported the implementation of the New SAP ERP.

Your profile:

  • French fluent

  • English advanced level

  • Experience 2 to 5 years in finance controlling

  • SAP knowledge

  • Excel/Gsheet advanced level

  • good communication skills

  • Autonomy and ability to challenge stakeholder service mindedness

  • Engineering knowledge would be appreciated

  • Agility Analysis structuration

  • Open-minded Creativity
