Finance Manager, Lighter Category & Manufacturing

As Finance Manager Lighter Category & Manufacturing you will partner with the Senior Manager Finance Lighter Category & Manufacturing and all other Lighter Category team to drive the financial performance of BICs Lighter business. You will combine manufacturing controlling and category financial planning to provide accurate analysis actionable insights and consistent coordination across manufacturing sites. Your work will strengthen financial visibility accelerate follow-up performance and support fact-based decisions across the full Lighter P&L.

Reports to: Senior Manager Finance Lighter Category & Manufacturing

• Support financial steering for manufacturing sites including budgeting forecasting standard costing CAPEX monitoring and operational performance analysis.
• Consolidate manufacturing results and clearly articulate key variances risks opportunities and operational value drivers.
• Contribute to category planning monthly closing and performance reviews through robust data preparation constructive challenge and concise commentary.
• Partner with Manufacturing Finance teams to align assumptions ensure consistent reporting and deliver high-quality financial inputs on time.
• Develop business cases monitor innovation initiatives and provide ad hoc analyses that support finance and business leadership decisions.
• Improve reporting tools financial processes and governance across Manufacturing and Category Finance.

• Category and manufacturing planning cycles including Operating Plan rolling forecasts and risks and opportunities reviews.
• Standard-cost and manufacturing-variance analysis with a focus on improving operational performance and financial transparency.
• CAPEX and innovation business cases from financial assessment through post-investment follow-up.
• Reporting simplification and Power BI-enabled performance dashboards for Finance and business stakeholders.

• Reporting excellence: Accurate complete and on-time delivery of closing forecast and planning outputs.
• Forecast quality: Improved forecast accuracy and early identification of material risks and opportunities.
• Actionable insights: Clear financial commentary that translates operational drivers into decision-ready recommendations.
• Business partnership: Strong stakeholder confidence and effective coordination across Category Manufacturing and Finance teams.
• Value creation: High-quality business cases and disciplined follow-up of CAPEX innovation and performance initiatives.
• Continuous improvement: Measurable simplification standardization and automation of reporting and finance processes.

• Masters degree in finance and a good accounting knowledge (IFRS).
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in financial controlling FP&A or manufacturing finance.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting forecasting management reporting standard and product costing and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver reliable consistent and timely financial information.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is mandatory
• Experience with JDE Oracle (HFM) and Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent English is required; proficiency in French is preferred.
