DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES About the role

We are currently looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to lead our financialoperations in France.

This is a key leadership position for someone eager to shape financialstrategy drive performance and ensure compliance in a dynamic and fast-pacedenvironment.

As the Finance Director you will:

• Develop and implement financial strategies policies and procedures to ensureeffective financial management internal control and compliance with localregulations and Group policies.
• Manage the overall financial operations of the company including financialplanning budgeting forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements managementreports and financial analysis while ensuring adherence to internal controlprocesses.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics identifying trends risks and opportunitiesfor improvement while maintaining a high level of ethics and compliance.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the senior management team supportingdecision-making and ensuring alignment with the companys financial goals.
• Collaborate with various departments including Sales Marketing and Operations toprovide financial insights and support business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws financial regulations and reporting requirementswhile implementing internal control processes according to Group policies.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors tax advisors andfinancial institutions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team fostering a culture of excellencecontinuous improvement collaboration and a strong commitment to ethics andcompliance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE About you

The ideal Finance Director:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field. MBA or CPA qualificationpreferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role ideally as a Finance Director orController.
• Strong understanding of French accounting standards tax regulations and internalcontrol processes.
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning budgeting and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies drive processimprovements and enhance financial performance while ensuring compliance andinternal control.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data andprovide strategic insights.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectivelyengage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in Distribution or similar industry would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English and French both written and spoken
