As a Field Technical Engineer within Abbotts Electrophysiology division you will provide clinical and technical expertise to healthcare professionals across your assigned territory. You will support physicians and catheterization laboratory teams during EP procedures deliver product training and contribute to the successful adoption of Abbotts innovative EP technologies.
This position is based in Nantes and supports customers throughout the assigned territory in Western France.
- Provide clinical and technical support for Abbott Electrophysiology products and procedures.
- Partner with the commercial team to ensure excellent customer experience and clinical outcomes.
- Support physician education training activities and wet-lab programs.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of new technologies and therapies.
- Ensure compliance with Abbotts Quality Regulatory Business Ethics and Compliance standards.
- Provide on-site technical and clinical support during electrophysiology procedures.
- Assist physicians and hospital staff in the safe and effective use of Abbott EP technologies.
- Deliver product demonstrations presentations and clinical training programs.
- Support the Sales team in achieving business objectives through technical expertise and customer engagement.
- Support clinical studies including case support and physician follow-up activities where applicable.
- Gather market intelligence and competitive insights and share relevant information with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all Abbott quality systems policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and activity reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians nurses technicians and hospital decision-makers.
- Proactively manage territory planning travel scheduling and customer support activities.
- Represent Abbott professionally and uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering Medical Engineering Life Sciences Nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrophysiology Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Support or a similar role within the medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy physiology and electrophysiology procedures.
- Experience working in catheterization laboratories and/or operating room environments.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical support during complex clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driving licence.
- Fluent French and English (minimum B2 level).
- Clinical and technical troubleshooting skills.
