We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support and ensure a seamless end-user experience.
Provide desktop and infrastructure support for laptops desktops printers and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware software operating system and networking issues.
- Support Windows macOS and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot Office 365 applications Outlook Teams OneDrive and standard business software.
- Provide conference room AV support and basic VoIP troubleshooting.
- Deliver Smart Hands support for networking equipment servers and IT infrastructure.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Ensure adherence to SLA targets and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
- 3-4 years of experience in desktop support field services or end-user IT support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware operating systems and software applications.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN and RDP.
- Familiarity with SCCM VDI MDM solutions (AirWatch MobileIron XenMobile) and endpoint security tools.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated results-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
